Last Scrapper Standing contest has begun...

For the first week of this contest over at Memorable Seasons, here is your challenge:

Your subject is "an American Child." This does not have to be your title. You may interpret it how you want and use any colors you would like for your layout, but you must add stars and stripes to your layout.

You will have until Monday, June 21 at 3 pm CST to upload this first challenge in the official entry thread. If you need a reminder about the rules, they are listed here.

Here is the layout I created for this challenge... I used a star border punch and a silver star sequin along with the striped measuring tape paper.
Supplies used:
Cosmo Cricket Material Girl papers (Snip Snip; Measuring Up, and Elements)
Black Bazzill cardstock, CTMH Red cardstock
Martha Stewart Classic Stars Border Punch
Treehouse Studio: Lg silver star sequin
Prima Flowers: turquoise, red and white
Marvy Black inkpad and sponge
Pink Paislee alpha stickers: Fascinating
Making Memories Brad: Yellow
* All products used from my personal stash
